- Because everyone has mental health and it's just as important to take care of as physical health. I have personally gone through depression and social anxiety, and we need to put a focus on preventing these illnesses from occurring.
- Because we all experience mental distress, whether we have a mental disorder or not. Therefore, mental wellness is vital to everyone. Also, I live with an anxiety disorder and have lost a family member to suicide. Finally, because together we can end the stigma!
- It is important for us to foster and be in tune with our mental health, because it really matters. One way to do that is by loving and taking care of ourselves.
- As an active member of mental health awareness, I am taking the pledge to grant myself and others the opportunity to thrive and bring fulfillment to their lives.
- Because I have experienced general anxiety and panic disorder since I was a child. Everyone deserves to have their story heard in a safe and non-judgmental space. Together, we can 'Stomp the Stigma'!
- Because we all have mental health. Your mental well-being is just as important as your physical well-being. I have personal experience with mental illness and know friends and family who have also. I have lost a friend to suicide, and I am taking this pledge not only for me, but for them as well. #SH44 💛
- In support of mental health awareness.

Cassandra Gordon:
- lots of people close to me (boyfriend, best friends) have attempted suicide or experience suicidal ideation. We need to change our attitudes about mental health so we can support people in our community
- Because mental health is important, and everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and loved.
Jarrett Moore:
- To help end the stigma.
- No one should every feel alone and mental wellness is vital
- Because everyone has mental health so why not talk about keeping ourselves healthy. There is too much stigma surrounding the negatives of mental health which makes some afraid to speak out. We need to create a conversation for those that no longer can.
Shannon Kennedy:
- I almost lost my sister to anorexia nervosa, and that is something no one should ever have to go through
- We need to open the conversation about mental health
- Many members of my family suffer from mental health conditions and am working to make sure they are all comfortable talking about it and seeking the support necessary.
- Mental health is one of the larger issues in our society today and yet so many people have such a stigma against it and refuse to help their friends and family.
Olivia Rosati
Anonymous:
- I believe everybody should have the ability to enhance their mental wellness and to be able to talk freely about their mental health.
